• Motivation for speakers to come give talks

• A forum to connect to the international society

• Possibility to host regional conferences and connect to the professionals in the field in the region (Middle East)

Here are the initial steps to takes:

1. Estimate number of prospective senior and student members

2. Contact IIE to formally register the chapter

3. Formal registration of the organization in Iran

4. Due to US sanctions on Iran we cannot get any funding from the headquarters so there is a need to raise funds/accept donations to budget the chapter

5. Once chapter is formally established, register members and start functioning
